Since graduating California State University Long Beach in 2009 with a degree in Industrial Design, I have had the privilege of design products for companies like Volkswagen, Audi, Microsoft, Incipio, Verizon, US Airforce, Speedo USA, Williams Sonoma, Macy’s, Martha Stewart, Tim Horton’s, Starbucks, AT&T, and Apple. In the summer of 2013 I moved to the Seattle, WA area. I’m currently a Senior Industrial Designer for Spectrum Tovolo, a housewares company that specializes in making functional, fun products that encourage creativity in the home.
I am partner to over 50 utility and design patents while also having product placement in over 1 million households worldwide.
Because of such an array of current and past product experience, I have extensive materials and manufacturing processes knowledge. I love getting my hands dirty building mockups and ergonomics studies, but my real value is being able to quickly adapt to different brand languages and styles to communicate product ideas with clients via sketching, 3D, and rendering.
Recently, I have become very keen on Virtual Reality and how the design process might be better represented through the technology. I’m currently learning Unity VR, environment building, and product interaction within environments.
